Optical Communications Laboratory

The Optical Communications Laboratory consists of several facilities:

  1. Optical Code Division Multiple Access (OCDMA) Laboratory
  2. Visible Light Communication (VLC) Testing Laboratory
  3. Optical-to-Electrical and Electrical-to-Optical Testing Laboratory
  4. Fiber Bragg Grating Sensor Testing Laboratory

Visible Light Communication Laboratory

 This laboratory supports a number of ongoing, upcoming and future projects:

  1. Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR)
  2. Quantum Key Distribution (QKD)
  3. 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional OCDMA
  4. Optical Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM)
